Lexus finally launched its new luxury flagship, five years in the making. Team One sent Uli Heckmann to ‘Hangar One’, an extravagant private hangar complex and flight club in Arizona. The agency had provided strong concept drawings for the shots with this location in mind, setting the tone for the project. Using a previous model as a stand-in car Uli captured seven exterior angles and shot various backplates at this location, to be later blended with the six interior views he photographed in a studio. Our Brooklyn and London branches combined their talents to replace the stand-ins with CGI versions of the new LS, and after fine-tuning all images this campaign turned out pretty sleek.
